It would be great to have the “title” and “description” which is already available in Digikam have used for facebook “title” and “description”. I'm not sure, whether it is the right place for my wish, anyway it is related. Currently when exporting to Facebook from Gwenview, name of the file is exported as description, which is meaningless in most cases (who wants his photo to be described as DSC01234?). So it would be great, if there was an option to leave description empty. Voting up for this ticket. If description is filled with filename, this depend of Gwenvien KIPI interface which pass this information. libkipi has API to pass image properties from host application. It work fine with digiKam. So this problem is located in Gwenview... Gilles Caulier Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved. Personally, I do not use this plugin any more for concerns about Facebook. Anyway, it seems that currently the plugin itself does not work, see 182838 so it probably does not make sense to keep this bug report open. |
