Description Fred Jackson 2013-11-17 18:38:36 UTC
after reinstalling my machine on a new hard drive, I had various problems restoring my email from the old drive, but this one is confusing. Starting with a pristine installation, I took two actions:
1. I imported a kmail archive file using kmailcvt. (18000+ emails)
2. I moved the imported folders from the 'import' directory to the root, 'Local Folders' in kmail.

I then discovered that the inbox folder setting on my 'POP' accounts were all set to my 'Templates' folder, which may have appeared as a result of the Import - I don't remember seeing a Templates folder till this incident. All the folder settings on my 'identity' were also wrong - sent items folder set to trash, drafts folder set to another folder etc.

Reproducible: Didn't try

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
