Description Barade 2013-11-11 02:11:06 UTC
Adding a track to the playlist and selecting it's context menu entry "show media in the sources" hangs up Amarok instead of showing the track in the tree view.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Myriam Schweingruber 2013-11-11 06:59:04 UTC
Because you are trying to something impossible: you ask Amarok to show something that is not in the local collection. The "Tree View" is a list that links to the Jamendo database, there is no local copy of the track.

Anyway: please provide the output portion of "amarok -d --nofork" when you are trying to do this, the last 30 lines or so are important. Ideally this option should be grayed out as it is not possible to show the track in the upstream location.
Comment 2 Mark Kretschmann 2013-11-11 08:03:54 UTC
Yeah it definitely shouldn't freeze Amarok though.
