This is related to/duplicate of bug 321872. The idea is that clicking once on the column should sort in the order that is expected (you would want to see biggest memory hoggers at the top), but Qt previously did not support indicating which default sort order a column needs, and this hack working around the Qt limitation is still in place. *** Bug 341389 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I've been testing this on ksysguard 5.20.3 and I can't replicate this error. Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I've set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thanks. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDSINFO status with no change in 30 days the bug will be closed as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME due to lack of needed information. For more information about our bug triaging procedures please read the wiki located here: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging If you have already provided the requested information, please mark the bug as REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to be confirmed. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! Hi, I'm not the OP but I reported a bug that was marked as duplicate. I'm using ksysguard 5.18.5 now. When I open "System Activity" and I click on the Name column, it sorts the names in ascending order but the sorting indicator suggests they are in descending order. When I click on the CPU% or Memory column, it sorts them in descending order and the sorting indicator looks the same, indicating descending order. HOWEVER, in other applications such as dolphin, the sorting indicators are ALWAYS wrong! (which is a different bug) Assuming the problem in dolphin is actually related to the plasma theme/style showing the indicators wrong (I appear to be using Breeze), I can say that the Name column behaves just like in dolphin (details view), but the CPU% and Memory column sorting indicators are reversed compared to e.g. the Size column in dolphin. I'm not able to test with version 5.20.3 right now, but we could try to compare screenshots if you think that would be helpful. ksysguard is no longer maintained, in Plasma 6 there is the Plasma system monitor for this task. If your issue still happens with the Plasma 6 replacement, please re-open and we can move this bug to the new product, thanks! |
