Description rubo77 2013-11-03 17:02:03 UTC
Please add the option to ignore a folder in the calculation of the tree.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a music library on your harddrive
2. fill 90% of your harddrive within this music folder
3. collect loads of other stuff on the rest 10% of the drive
Actual Results:
If you want to keep the largest folder as it is, It is not easy to observe, which of the folders contains lots of GB that could be candidates for deletion

Expected Results:
right-click on the Music-folder "ignore this folder" so the tree will be recalculated as if the folder weren't there

in case you didn't know, there is an ignore list in the settings dialog. it's just kind of broken in the current release, should be fixed in the next release.

I didn't know there is such an option. But yes, it seems like it is broken, I added a folder and it was still calculated anyway.

So there should be a secondary ignorelist, that is filled by right-click option and if you restart filelight, It should be empty again.
