use phonon-vlc instead of phonon-gstreamer as workaround of the crash *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 293951 *** How? And why? I was not playing any media. And how is KNotify related to it? KNotify uses Phonon to play system sounds. You can change it to use a different player via System Settings > Notifications > Player Settings tab. I prefer using the "mplayer" command as an external player. It never crashed on me. |
