Description Erike Magegere 2013-10-26 11:24:20 UTC
I tired to do my weekly software upgrade with the Muon Update Manager on my 13-10 system clean install. As usual Google Chrome has another 44Mb update and thus I tried to deselect it as on 13-04 and previous. A subwindow at the top opens and flashes and then disappears without deselecting the package. trying to deselect anything produces the same. I also noticed while the updater is running both cpu cores are running at 100% on my HP 6730b laptop. Closing the application returns cpu usage to normal 5% or so percent. Software Updaters works fine (synaptic?)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start Muon Update manager via Kickoff Application Manager
2. CPU got to 100% when Update Manager window opens
3. No deselect buttons work
Actual Results:
No deselect of package and system labouring as application is taking all cup resource

Expected Results:
Deselect of package

Clean install of 13-10 BUT with a separate home filesystem
