Description Scott Kitterman 2013-10-23 10:55:39 UTC
On this Dell Latitude E6320 (which can have two batteries installed), the battery monitor only notices one of them (battery 2). See the attached screen shot. You can see in the Konsole session that Solid is aware of both batteries.

Reproducible: Always

This can be an important issue because if the battery that powermanagement is aware of runs out of power it will suspend the system even if there is power available.

Thanks for the bug report.
Can you look in plasmaengineexplorer (now shipped with plasmate) in the powermanagement section if both batteries are present there as well?

Yes. Both batteries show up there.

Interestingly, after suspend resume while on battery the second battery showed up. So it's intermittent somehow.

There have been issues with it not properly updating the list of batteries at runtime which have been fixed. Please re-open if the issue persists.
