Ok, I seems to find the way to reproduce this bug: The problem is with auto dim. If we are in auto dim, plugin the AC will not be able to reset to the new profile brightness. Git commit 2a7af777d448e1a2e0bcb75a29195a23a897f8db by Weng Xuetian. Committed on 29/10/2013 at 16:58. Pushed by xuetianweng into branch 'KDE/4.11'. Fix brightness not being correctly reset on AC plugged-in immediately trigger the simulated user activity by hand, otherwise it will only be called later in mainloop after load the new profile.
