I hab to select an other sounddevice in the phononmanager, but the checkbox, where you can show the advanced devices is hidden. What do i have to do, if i whant to show the advanced devices?

Reproducible: Always

Could you please specify the version you are using? No need for advanced devices anymore, go look at the Hardware setup tab, Pulseaudio is taking care of that, since KDE SC 4.9.x or so

Exactly. When PulseAudio is used the advanced devices checkbox is hidden because there are no advanced devices with PulseAudio. The hardware setup tab should offer everything you need to configure your sound card such that the right devices show up in the device preference tab.

Dear Sir/Madame,

In my Version 4.9, i am not able to configure the sound cards. The Problem
is, that i have a Notebook with 7.1 CH output, but on the Phononmanager
there is only one Sound device listed(standart analog audio stereo). I need
the Box, to show and select the inactive Sound devices (SPDIF, Mic,...).

Sincerely, Lechner Anton

Please address support requests to the forum: http://forum.kde.org/viewforum.php?f=19

For now: go to the SystemSettings -> Multimedia -> Audio and Video Settings -> Select the Audio Hardware Setup Tab and then explore, everything is there.
If this is not the case, then please check your installation, something must be wrong on your system.
