- What I was doing when the application crashed:
The icon showed in the system tray indicating updates were available. I clicked the icon and Software Updates opened, but it said "No updates are available. Last checked 1 day and 22 hours ago." I clicked on "More..." and "Check for Updates." Muon Software Updates then crashed.

By the way, I really hate this new interface. Why don't you just take all of the interface away so I just start using the command line instead.

If you really want to update, you can still update using the command line:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

and your machine should get the latest updates.

For any that those commands miss and to ensure resolving dependencies and removal of conflicts, one may use the badly named

`sudo apt-get dist-upgrade`

However, the point is that muon-updater is broken. Even if it does not crash, it does not work.

Can someone change this to confirmed? The number of reports implies that this is a confirmed bug.

I added new software source with muon. After that 5 new updates where detected and popup from muon was shown.
I clicked on muon icon in kde system tray.

It appears to be resolved in the new version. It's much appreciated too, thanks. I'm marking it resolved, but I don't know if it is an Ubuntu patch or a KDE fix.
