Visible Icons on mouseover:
-new institution
-Edit (in the account's menue)
Never visible at all icons:
-Transfers (in scheduled transactions)
-all income (in the categories' menue)
-Budgets (in the left row)
-create / delete budgets
-File->backup
-tools->update stock and currency prices (in the menue bar)
-account->edit account/Reconcile/Transaction report/update account/update all accounts
-view->Hide reconsiled transactions/Hide unused categories

All other icons are visible... that is very courious

Did you install from portage? This seems to be caused by a wrong installation. I'm running KMyMoney on gentoo without any issues and I don't recall seeing similar reports.

I use Sabayon and I installed it as precompiled package

Please report this issue to your distribution's bug tracker. I'm sure that this is a packaging issue since everything works fine here (using Gentoo) with a properly packaged application.

Closing these issues as unmaintained since we have been waiting for feedback on them for a year now.
