debug trace

Hello,
* Neopomuk crashes until I disable it. It reates many empty files /tmp/virt_xxxx
* The log file soprano-virtuoso.log indicates "bitmap.c:693 singleton bm not in use"

I've joined the debug trace.

How can I find the file which indexation make soprano crash ?

This seems very much like a bug in virtuoso. Could you please enable the debug mode [1] and then restart nepomuk by running $ nepomukctl restart. The debug file should contain the fail which fails to index.

Otherwise, please enable all debug messages via kdebugdialog, and then restart nepomuk.

According to the backtrace, it is not the indexer which crashes, but the akonadi feeder.

I have exactly the same problem with KDE 4.11.2 on ArchLinux. The debug message is very similar to the one posted in this bug report.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

The Nepomuk project is no longer included in the KDE Software Compilation. With Plasma 5, we have replaced most of the underlying technology with Baloo and other components. Hopefully this will have addressed your concern.

We encourage you to try out Plasma 5 (+Baloo) and let us know if your problem persists.
