Description Axel Braun 2013-09-16 12:28:32 UTC
Have the PC booted and write the first mail of the day, with 'automatic sign message' enabled. Once you press send, the system shows for about 15minutes the sandclock (only on Kontact) until the dialog box with the password phrase for kpgp appears. during that time kpgp seems to run normal (means can be used).
All mails afterwards have immediately the password dialog showing up.
The problem does only appear since 4.11.1

Reproducible: Always

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

I still see this issue in KMail 5.3.2 from time to time - Hit 'send' and KMail is completely blocked (Message window and main window)

Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version?

If you can reproduce the issue, please change the status to "REPORTED" when replying. Thank you!

Fixed in between...more by chance after 9 years :-(
