Description Yichao Zhou 2013-09-14 18:07:10 UTC
Choose terminus as your font.

echo -e "\033[1mSome Text" does not show bold font.

Reproducible: Always

Is a bold variant of the font installed? You can check it using the "Select Font..." dialog in Appearance settings. In the "Font style" list, there should be a bold variant.

Yes. I can even use a bold variant as my main font and it display correctly.

But with normal weight, echo -e "\033[1mSome Text" doesn't get correct answer.

font is called terminus, which can be installed almost from all distros.

I couldn't reproduce with a recent git build of konsole. (Also KDE4/konsole is no longer maintained).
