some icons in the panel where not responding prior to reboot like Konversation (minimize) and ktorrent (would not quit)

Reproducible: Didn't try

Plasma 4 has been unsupported for several years, and this doesn't see applicable to Plasma 5.

And you bumped this 5 years after it was posted... for what reason?  Yes KDE4 and plasma 4 are EOL.  I gave up on this a long time ago.  I am closing this because dead bug report is dead.
