Description Jan Kundrát 2013-08-19 14:18:56 UTC
Running inside KDE4.10, when I try to log out from the desktop session and Trojita is running, not minimized into systray and systray is enabled, the logout process aborts with a message that Trojita aborted that.

I suspect that this shall be fixed by overriding QApplication::commitData and adding appropriate code to the MainWindow::closeEvent.

Volunteers welcome, especially those whose aim is "desktop integration" :).

Can confirm issue (still) exsists with latset trojita-0.7 release running on plasma-5.10.x (fedora 26)

Reproducible here with Fedora 25 as well.

Jan, what do you think about the patch proposed in comment #1? I as the maintainter of the trojita package in Fedora tend to add this patch instead of disabling the systray icon by default (for an autostart option in session settings).

That patch does not work; please do not apply it.

Yes, the bug is still there. Once we have something which fixes this issue properly, this bugreport will be marked as solved :).

Trojitá is no longer maintained, please switch to a maintained alternative like https://apps.kde.org/kmail2/

Sorry for the inconveniences.
