Hi Ecco, On my win 8.1 laptop with that driver, I can reproduce the issue. The weird thing is that for me after some time, painting starts working for a little bit again.... Boud, have you tried checking if on the Windows machine that is NOT showing the problem the workaround of which I posted a picture in the bug report has been performed? If it is, try reverting it to default. Wacom drivers have by default the stylus tip set to "click" and this setting is in general some sort of undocumented feature needed for certain use cases. I think I suggested you doing that a few months ago on IRC to temporarily solve certain Wacom-related issues in Windows. Most users however won't know about that workaround and will find out that Krita by default doesn't work as intended with a Wacom tablet. On both systems, the win8.1 that shows the bug and the win7 that works fine, no modifier is enabled -- and I am sure I didn't change anything there, that's how it was out of the box. On the latest version of Krita 64 for Windows - Krita 2.7.8.13 (x64) - all strokes are registering, but some of them "leak"; that is, they keep being painted even when the pen is lifted. When this happens, this behavior can only be stopped by clicking once on the canvas. This tends to occur unpredictably, although much less frequently than the "unpainted stroke" problem I was previously having. Can you please check with the installers I linked to from this forum message: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=281&t=117746 ? krita_x64_2.7.8.17.msi is the first build in a good while that works correctly on my machine with my pen tablet - no missing or leaking strokes at all. Same for build 2.7.8.18. Krita has become usable again. Can you do some more testing, perhaps? This code is really, really new, we wrote it this weekend. So I'm sure there'll be other weirdnesses, but it's awesome that this issue is fixed now :-) I kept drawing for about an hour an a half with Krita 2.7.8.18 and while I found other bugs, perhaps pen tablet-related, I haven't had any problem involving brush strokes anymore as in past builds. |
