Description Mauro V. 2013-08-15 20:44:46 UTC
Hi on KDE 4.10.5 dual monitor reset to clone after a system reboot.

Go to System Settings -> Display and Monitor -> select second monitor to left and apply the definitions.

Then reboot the system, and after login to kde both monitors revert back to clone and loose the definitions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. system settings -> display and monitor -> select second monitor to left and apply the definitions
2. apply, and reboot
3. Monitors will revert back to clone mode
Actual Results:
Monitors will revert back to clone mode.

Expected Results:
System should restart with the definitions made on the System and settings, and not revert back.

Thanks for reporting your bug.

Since reporting Krandr has since been replaced by KScreen. It is available in the Plasma 4 series, and is default in Plasma 5 onwards.

I hope this solves your issue. If you still have a problem after upgrading please reopen a new bug under kscreen.

Thanks
