Description Peter Lewis 2013-08-13 11:39:36 UTC
If I open a PDF document containing someone else's annotations, I often open up the review sidebar, and go through the annotations in the tree structure, one by one. For small annotations (e.g. a strikethrough a single character, or a caret) it can be very difficult to spot where in the document the annotation is.

Clicking on the annotation in the sidebar scrolls the document to show *roughly* where the annotation is, but for small annotations, you still have to do quite a bit of hunting through the document to find it. This is an unpleasant experience, and for documents with more than a few annotations, I often just give up and use a different reader.

When an annotation is selected in the sidebar, could the annotation be highlighted in the main document? I.e. a large yellow circle around the annotation in the document, perhaps just visible for a few seconds? This would make reviewing annotations much more pleasant.

Thanks.

PS. I've put this as "wishlist", but to be honest, I think it's probably a usability (i.e. non-functional) bug.

Reproducible: Always

Makes sense.
