Sentry Crash Report:

Description Fred Jackson 2013-07-31 05:49:25 UTC
I had just enabled kwallet for the first time on my computer and was in the middle of setting passwords for all of my accounts when the folder structure disappeared from view in kmail. I moved my kmail folders to a temp location and imported the content only to have kmail throw it all away again. I emptied my local-mail again and re-imported. this recovered my emails and folders structure BUT NOW KMAIL WILL NOT STORE MY EMAIL IN FOLDERS WITH MBOX FILES. CAN I FORCE KMAIL TO STORE MY EMAIL IN FILES LIKE THE DAYS OF OLD??

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I lost my folders twice in an hour but was not able to reproduce the problem on demand
2.
3.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
