The problem was in kded (kdelibs), since it was not loading newly added kded's until 4.11 (a305e57fe2278563b641414a484cf19015fa1c41) Now if you install kscreen (or any other software with a kded) it will get autoloaded in case it is configured to do so. Also, the KCM should work regardless of if the daemon is loaded or not, the only thing is that KScreen won't remember your settings. |
