Description Simon Andric 2013-07-10 21:00:22 UTC
hello!
after fresh install a few months ago up till now - the project neon does not want to save my desktop preferences. I tried to put both folder .kde and .project-neon-kde as non-root (folders, subfolders, files, everything) but it didnt solve the issue.

Also i couldnt find any part of bugs.kde.org dedicated to project neon bugs, so im reporting ist as general.

The things that are NOT saved:
desktop background settings (grid desktop)
wallpaper settings (slideshow, every 7min changing)
aynthing about widgets that are placed on the desktop (after reboot the desktop is empty)

Things that are saved:
settings of default panel and/or any other extra added panel (including widgets, icons, preferences of task manager, system tray, clock, calendar...)

please help!

ps.i use saucy development kubuntu...

nice day:)
symon

Reproducible: Always

Project Neon is Kubuntu specific, and bugs related to it should be reported to their bug tracker via https://launchpad.net/project-neon

In case what you see turns out to be a setup problem, you better ask for help on KDE forums.
