-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed: i opend a large *.chm file and the aplication crashed when i tried to scrol down pages. the content looked ok but the loading of more pages seemed to had grind it to a halt. 
i run kubuntu 13.04 and KDE 4.10.4
plus my swappiness is configured to 10% with a deadline io scheduler and fifo_batch configured to 1 manually (i think this might cause issues), though it takes a long time to load with noop as well

Have you set greedy rendering in the settings? Does changing it back to default help? Can you attach the chm file?
