Installing kipi-plugins, it installs the following file into share/config.kcfg:

-- Installing: /local/kde4/share/config.kcfg/PLEConfigSkeleton.kcfgc

The file that should be installed there is PLEConfigSkeleton.kcfg, but it needs to be generated using "kde4_add_kcfg_files" in CMakeLists.txt.

Ah sorry, I was wrong.

The file "photolayoutseditor.kcfg" has to be installed there, not "PLEConfigSkeleton.kcfgc".

No, the bug is still there, I just did not check which .kcfg belonged to the .kcfgc

You install: PLEConfigSkeleton.kcfgc
Should be: photolayoutseditor.kcfg
