As shown in the screen shot, the preview rectangle for quick tile when dragging a window against a screen edge has the wrong size. I am not sure in which case this may be useful if it is added on purpose, but it is really annoy since it looks like other windows are not tiled properly in some cases. It will be nice to be able to disable this behavior if it is not a bug.

Yes this is intended. It's only a highlight that something is going to happen, not that the window will get this size which we cannot guarantee anyway and is also affected by other factors like panels.

But right now it is even far from what the size it is supposed to be....

The visual result depends on the Plasma theme.
Air has excessive shadows, causing the huge padding. *shrug*

Do you mean the padding is actually the shadow? (If so, it sounds like a bug in size calculation for me.)

Yes, and no, that's no calculation bug - the shadow is mostly near transparent. Please don't ask me why. It's similar for the oxygen deco.
