Description Harry 2013-07-05 19:38:16 UTC
Noticed with the 4.10.5 update that the IMAP resource is leaving an 80 kbps load on my network after being activated. This was noticed via KNEMO.

Had my IMAP Accounts set to Disconnect Mode. Also happens with this setting off.

Had to go through Krunner to terminate this IMAP process to get the Traffic load to end.

Access to the IMAP Accounts work normal.

Does not happen until an IMAP account is accessed via Kmail.
No traffic load with Kmail loaded and set not to fetch mail on startup.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start either Kontact of Kmail
2. Access an IMAP Account
3. Check with KNEMO

Expected Results:
Network traffic only during fetch and send.

Observation: I have 2 IMAP Accounts: Yahoo and owc.net
When using the configuring module, I noticed that Yahoo uses few protocols while OWC has quite a few. (The features reported when clicking *Check Server* pushbutton in Config)
I was wondering if an underlying protocol is causing havoc with the Akonadi IMAP resource?

The Bug currently reported that crashes an IMAP account has happened only with the owc.net account, not with the Yahoo.
