There is an option in the yakuake profile to open the new tab with the same directory as current tab.

When start the yakuake, it opens the terminal in my home directory (~).
I change the directory to a new location and did CTRL + L,  CTRL + T,  CTRL + N. The new
tab opens terminal in my home directory.

Expect the terminal to open in the current directory i am in
