KMail2 introduces a new mail notifier from KDE 4.11 on. While this is pretty cool, one should be able to select which folders are watched for new mails.

I filter junk mails on my server, mark it as read and move it to a "Junk" folder. While KMail2 in KDE < 4.11 did not notifiy of new mails in the junk folder (because they had no "new" header), KMail2 does which is pretty annoying.

Please make it possible, to select which folders are checked for new arrivals.

Reproducible: Always

It's always implemented (as in kmail2 <4.11)
=> go to folder property => disable "act on new/unread mail in this folder"

Ah, my fault! Works indeed pretty well as you described... Thx!
