In dolphin, error messages in the top bar (often of the sort 'this folder cannot be dragged onto itself) seem to hang around until closed manually. It would be great if they could dissapear after a short while (10 seconds? 30 seconds?) or after the user takes some other actions which show they have moved on and are no longer bothered by it (moving to a new folder for example).

Thanks for the report. In KDE 4.11, the message widget will be closed when the URL is changed.
