I have no idea what you are reporting about here. All I get is launching Konqueror preferences causes it to freeze and request for having a means of resetting your preferences. Notwithstanding how that helps identify the problem, what exactly is the bug report here ? The desire to have a config reset button or the preferences dialog causing a freeze? Anyhow, we obviously do not see the freeze or it would have already been addressed. And the other problem, well you said that launching the very dialog that would have allowed to reset your current settings is causing a freeze.
