hi,

tried to recognize some faces, tagged a few and did a recognition run, no images get tagged, maybe this is a cause:


digikam(25201)/digikam (core) Digikam::FaceTagsEditor::changeSuggestedName: Refusing to reset a confirmed name to an unconfirmed name


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. detect, tag a few faces
2. recognize
3.
Actual Results:  
no new images tagged

Expected Results:  
proper tags

Which opencv version you use ? Go to Help/Component Info for details.

This has preliminarily been fixed by Mahesh, although I do not yet understand the cause of the problem.

New digiKam 4.11.0 is available with official PKG installer for OSX.

Learning/Neural Network API from OpenCV

See the Neural Network example from digiKam 7.0.0-beta1 performing faces recognition with 2 items face-tagged in first.

1 new item is recognized, name-tagged, highlighted with green frame, and linked in "unconfirmed" virtual tag for confirmation.

Recognition work well using Deep Learning. I close this file now.
