That's an interesting feature, but something which is only going to be useful for a limited number of people, IMHO. If you have a decent patch, please send it for review -- should be pretty straightforward to implement this. I started some work on this feature. It's not complete and has some known problems. Loading drafts with a custom sender will cause trojita to crash and there are probably more issues open.
