Thanks for your reply. I hope it helps.
By the way I only noticed this issue on my laptop, on my desktop computer works fine.
works fine here too... do you have specific settings on your laptop ? I don't know which pb... is it the same package on your laptop/destkop ? etc I changed all kmail preferences to "Default" and I also tried the same settings from my desktop on my laptop but that didn't work either. I decided to update from kde 4.10.3 to 4.10.4 hoping that would solve the issue but I have the same result. I'm running Kubuntu 13.04 on my desktop (same as my laptop) and I have pretty much the same settings and package on both of them. It used to work before that's why I'm so confused. If there's any useful information I can give you let me know in the meantime I'll try different system settings (fonts, effect, window decoration, etc) and see if I get any results. The new package information: Package: kmail Maintainer: Kubuntu Developers <kubuntu-devel@lists.ubuntu.com> Architecture: amd64 Source: kdepim Version: 4:4.10.4-0ubuntu0.1~ubuntu13.04~ppa2 Still happing in 4.11 ? I Finally figured it out!! It was a problem with the calendar "resource" in System Preferences > Personal Information (Akonadi). One of the calendars had a "token permision problem" (sorry I don't remember the exact message), when I double click it change to "Ready" (under the name of the resource) even though no change was made. After that I could see the invitations as soon as I opened in kmail. The weird thing was that the calendar and all it's events were still visible and updated through Korganizer. After that I still re-add the calendar in System Preferences to avoid any other problem. I hope it helps someone in this situation, and sorry for the delay reply. |
