That's theme dependent I'd say. We can either: 1) Turn this into a bug of "change the default theme" 2) Close with "use different theme" I'm inclined to 2) but it's up to text-ui maintainers. Timestamps in the default theme are low contrast so do not have a lot of "noise". Having everything jump and move about as you hide the timestamp would add more "noise" and if you didn't make use of the extra space, there's little point hiding them. Summary: No. Use a different theme. |
