Description garethic 2013-06-04 08:50:40 UTC
I know this sounds stupid. But the book mentions it was compiled in Linux, it's about Linux, yet the bookmarks are missing and the links in the text are not visible, so I guess there's a problem you should know about. I'm trying to switch over to Linux, I'm freaking out because nothing is working the way it should, and now my only guidebook is hard to use. (Excuse me while I get a tissue.)
The book is produced by the Free Technology Academy, Jordi Serra i Ruiz, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. 2008.
I know the bookmarks & links are there because Adobe Acrobat sees them just fine.
Because I'm testing a Live system (which is also misbehaving - persistence/overlay is not working as expected) I can't seem to download Acrobat. And I'm spending friggin' hours figuring out WTF is going on.
But really, I love the way it all works & kudos to all of you who put this together.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Just (find and) load the above book in Okular
2.
3.

Fedora Live KDE Spin, on USB with 1200 MB persistent space

Can you switch to "Browse" mode using the Okular toolbar to test if the bookmarks and links work?

PLEASE ignore this/throw it away.
The pdf has no bookmarks. I thought it was another book on Linux, which I copied over by mistake. Really sorry to have wasted your time with this.
