This appears to occur whenever and email is sent either from kmail or from when korganizer sends email reminders... Confirmed for openSUSE 12.3, kmail2 4.10.5. Happens with maildirmixed resource. The condition in comment#1 is not a requirement, it happens when kmail just scans the directory or otherwise keeps itself busy (which it does a lot on mixed maildir/mbox folders). The problem also occurs when using "update folder and subfolders" and when modifying the resource in system settings->personal info->akonadi This problem frequently occurs when synchronising mixedmaildir folders, e.g. I ran qdbus org.freedesktop.Akonadi.Control /AgentManager org.freedesktop.Akonadi.AgentManager.agentInstanceSynchronize akonadi_mixedmaildir_resource_0 and kmail is going bananas. It also takes exorbitant amounts of time to do that job - half an hour easily. This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months. I don't see this in 5.1.3 setting to resolved. |
