Currently Android has interesting technology - nine-patch pngs.

The main feature of it is that it can beautifully change its size - it stretches only specified areas on zooming.

So it'd be great to see ability to view this files in gwenview.

Bad idea IMHO. I often have normal pictures that end with .1.png up to .numberwhatsoever.png including .9.png... Whoever made that format IMHO should think about using a standard mimetype without included dot...
