- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Just browsing in firefox; only mpxalarm and a console was opened in the background windows.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

Crash occures after some tiem of work. 2 to 3 times the desktop can recover.
After some crashed xdm / kdm mus be restarted becaus the taskbar disappears.
 

- Custom settings of the application:

Default kde4 plasma desktop settings. removed the configuiration *plasma* files.
