SO = Kubuntu 12.10, KDE 4.9.5
I use the "Classic menu style".
I have found a lot of Krita and Okular duplicated entry into KDE Menu editor (Graphics and Office submenu), even if they appear only one into the KDE Kickoff menu.
So I deleted the multiple items, but they appeared into the .hidden submenu, and it's impossible delete them.
It seems to let me delete them, but at the next KDE menu editor activation they are still there.
Same thing happens to some self-created items, that I deleted later.

This behavior is still present in Kubuntu 16.04

Was able to manually delete the offending items from the filesystem which allows the .hidden submenu to not display when presenting the menu but the submenu itself remains in kmenuedit
