The problem is upstream with gstreamer. You should also make sure you have only one version of codecs installed for gstreamer, mixing the 0.10.x and 1.0.x ones is a very bad idea. As a workaround you can use the phonon-backend-vlc instead. @Rohan: we get an average 5-10 reports /day about that since the 13.04 release, please look into this, it is really annoying. I strongly suspect a mismatch in the codecs, this should not be allowed from the distribution IMHO, and people using Gentoo for example don't have this problem at all. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 319295 *** |
