I put the correct password but nothing happends.
I tried to find any information and ___after Alt+f2  + kwalletmanager__  i see the wallet is closed.
If try to open it ,  clicking in but the windows opened after show no elements and the wallet remains closed.

That happens last 3 days and i did not upgrade my system.  No aptitude, apt, ...  used last week and everything worked well until this few days.

My system:
 Linux  3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.35-2 x86_64 GNU/Linux
 kwalletmanager -v
Qt: 4.8.2
Plataforma de desarrollo de KDE: 4.8.4 (4.8.4)
Gestor de carteras de KDE: 1.9

Steps to Reproduce:
1. login at kde
2. put the password in the kwallet
3. try to send one email with kmail
Actual Results:  
aplications that ask for passwords to kwallet do not have it.  They wait and wait for ever.

Expected Results:  
kmail and kopete use to work after the main password is introduced at kwallet.

The severity is surely bad selected because it worked and i did not upgraded so it must be something changed in my configuration.  That are the files at my home with kwallet name:
I did not touched anyone of then.

I have just readed this Bug 135448 and I closed the kopete and restarted kde without it.

That fixed my problem and now kmail can use kwallet without problems.

It seems its not a problem of kwallet or kwalletmanager. I soved it just stoping kopete so it must be a kopete bug I gues.

May be, this is related to Bug 254198? I’ve been seeing exactly this behaviour for quite some time, now.

I think you experienced the same walletd freeze fixed by 254198.
