I cannot reproduce. Which KDE version are you using, and does it also happen with a fresh user account or a different widget style, such as Plastique? If you can provide the information requested in comment #2, please add it. Sorry for the late response... Interestingly, this issue does not happen with a fresh account. On the other hand, it does not help to remove ~/.kde/share/config/kpat from my own account. The issue is still there... What config file could cause this? It could be caused by a different widget style (e.g. oxygen-transparent instead of plain Oxygen). To check other possibilities, I would need the exact KDE version, because the implementation of the theme selection dialog changed in different KDE versions. If you can provide the information requested in comment #5, please add it. To further investigate this issue, KDE developers need the information requested in comment #5.
