Hardik: we just released Amarok 2.7.0 for Windows, please re-test all your open bugs against that new version: http://amarok.kde.org/en/releases/2.7Win I have upgraded amarok to 2.7. Now, no sound is coming from any music file played in amarok. I have tried reinstalling, restarting, running as administrator, removing temp files(App data files) and then reinstalling: none of this thing worked. Then I tried reinstalling amarok 2.6 and it worked fine as at was used to. Sorry for that, there was a glitch in the version, which is now corrected. Please try http://winkde.org/~pvonreth/downloads/Amarok/2.7.0/amarok-x86-setup-2.7.0-1.exe Yeah it worked.Following are the status of my bugs: 1,][ID:318790] C:\ directory is still not updating. 2.][ID:318813] All the video files are just played and no video is displayed. Smart way to resolve a bug. And as it is a music player, generally people like to hear a music not to see a video. 3.][ID:319015] I want to be more specific about this bug. If I change the file extension of any file (e.g. mp3 to wav) , all the parts works fine, only the overall time of a song is displayed 0:00(in playlist). Other bugs encountered: For video files other than mp4, the overall time of a song is displayed 0:00(in playlist). Thank you for the feedback, but we would need to comments on the individual bugs, not all in here :) Moving this to playlist, as the display time is only 0:00 there. I tested with amarok v2.8.0, still not fixed. (In reply to comment #6) > I tested with amarok v2.8.0, still not fixed. You tested this on Windows I presume? (In reply to comment #7) > (In reply to comment #6) > > I tested with amarok v2.8.0, still not fixed. > > You tested this on Windows I presume? Ooops, I tested on Linux and it's reproducible for me. Oh, good to know, changing the platform to "unspecified", then. |
