Description Leo 2013-04-19 16:21:31 UTC
editing RAW files (eg. DNG) obtains a file wich is not openable by GIMP but with kolourpaint is opened ok.
Don't know if it is a bug of gimp or digikam...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a RAW file
2. imort it as a jpg file
3. try to open it gimp ( don't know if it happends also with other files) it is opened UFRaw instead as it was a raw file instead a jpg file
3.1 if I open it with kolourpaint and, without doing something, I save it once again as a jpg then everything is ok.
Actual Results:
it opens the file as it was a raw file with ufraw instead of gimp

Expected Results:
opened as a normal jpg file by gimp

at the address https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qpfzafcxvnglw0u/JeJ-9jSlfE you can find the 3 files DNG and 2 jpg

Leo,

I import my RAW file to JPG through digiKam Image Editor and i can open it to gimp without any problem.

With digiKam 5.0.0, this problem is not reproducible.
I close this file now. Don't hesitate to re-open if necessary.
