Run digiKam in GDB directly to get a backtrace : http://www.digikam.org/contrib Running with gdb, Digikam only freezes. Backtrace is : #0 0x00007ffff167cd25 in raise () from /lib64/libc.so.6 #1 0x00007ffff167e1a8 in abort () from /lib64/libc.so.6 Cannot access memory at address 0x7fff657f9448 Its sound like a binary compatibility issue with your distro package. Which linux distribution you use ? Also, if you have installed debug package and if there is no debug symbol, there is really a problem with your system... I'm using Opensuse 12.2. I'll try to check the system. Thanks. I finally made Digikam work again by moving all my photos outside of my local collection, starting digikam and adding the photos again into the collection. Database may have been corrupted during last days... I think the report can be closed. |
