(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kio-ftp
Version: KDE 2.2.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

The thing is simple some ftp servers have a logout time the problem is that if I open a remote ftp file on a program (for example a html file on quanta) if I satay with it open for a long time I can't save it anymore.
kio_ftp should give user a option to reconnect when showing the error "ftp timeout" without this opening remote files on ftp that have timeout is almost useless.
