Attachments: The patch fixes keyboard bounce delay range and step

Description miles zarathustra 2013-04-07 01:05:32 UTC
The smallest it lets me set the time to is 100ms.
I need it to be 20ms.

I was able to go in to the rc file and set it manually, but it would be nice to be able to do it through the settings app.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.settings app
2. accessibility
3. keyboard filters
4. try to adjust bounce keys to less than 100ms
Actual Results:
it won't.

Expected Results:
it should.

Thanks!

The patch fixes keyboard bounce delay range and step

I've attached a patch that fixes the problem. The patch is against plasma-desktop 5.9.4.

I do agree to needing this. My thinkpad regularly repeats some of the keys and this would solve it. 10-20ms should be fine.

Reported 2013, today 2021 and still the same... It is only about increasing the range.

It seems that this has been fixed meanwhile. I can set lower numbers (the only issue is that in Accessibility -> Keyboard modifiers the UI does not tell me what unit the setting is in, but on my x380 I could resolve the bad keyboard driver with it and it does not have a range limitation anymore)
