Description Lastique 2013-03-29 07:32:15 UTC
The lower panel with package information (the one with tabs Details, Technical Details, Dependencies, etc.) is too small by default, so I find myself constantly increasing it whenever I want to see package versions (it doesn't fit in the panel by default). I have my Muon maximized upon start, so there's plenty of room for the panel.

I'd like the panel size to be increased by default to the size sufficient for package version information to fit in it completely. Also, it might be worthwhile to add support for remembering panel sizes across Muon restarts.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Muon (maximized).
2. Select a package.
3. Select Technical Details tab in the lower panel.
Actual Results:
The version information does not fit in the panel and is not visible until you increase the size of the panel. The panel size is not preserved after restart, so I have to do it every time.

Expected Results:
Size the panel so that all information is visible by default. Remember the size across restarts.

Muon version is 1.9.97. There's no such version in the corresponding bug tracker field.

Muon is no longer maintained, please switch no a supported alternative like https://apps.kde.org/discover/ or the package manager native no your system.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
