not sure if someone has this problem as well, but for me it strangely happens each time

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open search dialog from the toolbar

Actual Results:  
search dialog can't be moved (tried with mouse), the only way it works is direction down

Expected Results:  
search dialog should be movable (using mouse) any direction

I'm running fedora 17 with xfce

search dialog is fully movable in 2.7.0 - maybe some hidden (or placed on other screen) modal dialog/message box was interfering?

Just after clicking "save changes" I noticed that you're using XFCE. Maybe that's the source of the problem - please reopen if you can still see this behavior in 2.7.0.
